Uniform Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Supply, Inc. began its journey as Uniform Appliance Center in the 1960s. Initially situated on Evangelista Street in the bustling Quiapo district, the company primarily focused on selling consumer appliances, particularly refrigerators and air conditioners.

In August 1981, the company underwent incorporation, officially becoming Uniform Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Supply, Inc. (URAS). During this period, URAS underwent a strategic shift in its operations, noticing a lack of availability of spare parts for the refrigeration and air conditioning units being old, the company transitioned from selling complete consumer refrigerators and air conditioning units to focusing on providing parts for these products.

By the 1990s, URAS had grown and relocated its operations to its current office building on Sales Street, Manila. This period also marked URAS's commitment to expanding its market share within the industry., URAS expanded its product line to include aftermarket products for commercial and industrial HVACR and established itself as a key importer and dealer of original and replacement parts for renowned brands in centralized semi-hermetic and open-type compressors.

During this time, the company identified an opportunity to further enhance customer service in the industry by directly supplying compressors and other HVACR equipment. URAS partnered with leading manufacturers in the HVAC industry across different countries from Italy, USA, UK, Russia, UAE, to China and is now the exclusive distributor to some of the most highly regarded brands in the industry.
